Child Abuse & Neglect

Fran Watson Roberson has served as the Clinical Director for the Center for Children and Families, Inc., since July 2001.  She has worked in two other program director capacities with CCFI since 1985.  As the former Director of the Extended Families Program, she has experience with emergency foster care.  As the former Director of the Parents Assistance Program, she has experience with abusive and neglectful families and the child protective services system.  Ms. Roberson holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma as well as professional licenses including Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  Ms. Roberson has worked in the Norman community for over thirty years as a parent educator, program developer, therapist, and supervisor.  She has trained other professionals in several areas including child abuse and neglect, ethical practice, domestic violence, child development, and family relationship skills.
